"The 2022 Rully du Clos de Bellecroix Cuvée Marey comes from the 1.60-hectare vineyard sector with an eastern orientation and undergoes 15 months in barrel with around 25% new oak. The transparent bouquet brings brambly red fruit, crushed rose petals and loamy scents. It needs the remainder of its élevage to cohere fully. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, very pure fruit and laden with minerals, with hints of black truffle and a noticeable marine influence towards the sapid finish. It leaves the tongue tingling afterward – an excellent red Rully. Drink: 2025-2038"
